Tips to Keep Moving

As you likely know, Washington state is currently dealing with the spread of a new coronavirus. Movement is good for your immune system but there are also precautions to take in a group exercise space. Below are some tips on how to help us keep the space and yourself thriving while attending classes. If you have any suggestions that we have missed, please let us know.

Wash your hands. Before and after class

Less touch. Let’s greet each other with warm smiles and welcoming eyes. Save the hugs for later.

Essential Oils to the rescue. We have an essential oil infused disinfectant and anti-viral spray for your hands and feet to use after class. We’ve increased the frequency of our common-space disinfection to include both before- and after-class cleanings too. ** if you are curious how essential oils can enhance your health during this time, please contact asap. We are placing orders daily that can be shipped right to your door. Please do not buy the essential oils you see in the stores. Most of them are toxic for your health. We have a few companies we recommend and are happy to educate you on the benefits of essentials and which ones to be using now. Let’s not pollute the earth or our environments with toxic chemical sanitizers in an effort to keep the bodies thriving. Instead, let’s enhance our well-being (body, mind, soul) with plant medicines that heal. **

Bring your own mat. If you don’t have one, we still have mats to lend, but if you do, using your own mat is the best idea.

Don’t come to class if you’re feeling under the weather. Want some inspiration to keep moving at home. Please reach out to us, we have some resources for you.
 
Cough or sneeze into your shirt and use tissues.

The coronavirus does not pass through your skin, but similar to a flu virus, can gain access to your mouth, nose, or eyes. Avoid touching your face
